and print the application form. If you do not already have this
program you can download it freely here:
The Application involves these steps:
Step 1: Application Type - Choose whether you
are renewing your Aviation ID Australia ASIC or applying for the
first time with Aviation ID Australia.
Step 2: Personal Details - Such as Name,
age, date of birth , current address, residential address history
over the last ten years, etc.
Step 3: Application Details - The kind of ASIC
you require (Red or Grey), Australia Wide or Single Airport only.
Step 4: AusCheck Requirements
- All ASIC Applications require approval by the Australian Government
via AusCheck. You must supply details such as history of any criminal,
traffic, charge, conviction or pecuniary penalties.
Step 5: Payment Details - Provide Credit Card
Details if paying on-line (Visa or MasterCard). Optionally you may
include a cheque with your printed and mailed application.
Step 6: Print Application - You must print the
Application and check it carefully to confirm all details supplied
are correct before continuing to the confirmation page.
Note that the first page of the printed Application includes
information about the identification documents you need to supply.
Your application will NOT be processed until such time
as we have received your SIGNED PRINTED application form
in the mail, along with a valid cheque, (or we have verified the
credit card information supplied) and all identification documentation.
Once appropriate clearances have been received your ASIC card
will be mailed to you via registered mail.
If any of the details we require are missing, or found to be erroneous,
or for some reason your ASIC application is denied you will be notified
by us as soon as is practicable.
